A Piece of Honor
A Piece of Honor
A Piece of Honor   For the better portion of two decades, I've been toting around a couple of burial flags that were in need of proper cases.  The problem was, I couldn't find a flag case that seemed worthy enough to hold their sacred contents.  Most cases today are made with inferior materials and/or processes like composite instead of hard wood, plastic instead of glass, veneer instead of actually applying lacquer and polish.  After many years and many moves across the country, I came upon a company that shared the same ideals I hold when it comes to honoring your loved ones. Pictures on the internet do not do these holy monuments justice. But after communicating with the team, I felt comfortable enough to commission them with a couple flag cases and a custom shadow box with exacting details (type of wood, finish, dimensions of the contents to be placed in the shadow box, etc...); 6 weeks later a box arrived with all the items in pristine condition. The final product exceeded my expectations by a fair margin.  So much so, that I took the rest of the day off to arrange everything the way I wanted.  After mounting them to the wall, a swarm of emotions hit me.  Now every time I see this shrine, I'm filled with pride and honor. Thank you. +--+ Carlos

Pictured from left to right is Myself (Ron), Matt, my son-in-law, and Martin, my dad.  We took this picture to mark the first furniture to be manufactured at our current location.  This project, 3 dressers for my sister, used lumber from the farm we grew up on.  We cut the trees, hauled them to a local mill and air dried the lumber.
